Dearborn is a Ville located in the American State of the Michigan, in the county of Wayne. According to the census of 2000, its population is of 97.775 inhabitants. The city was thus named in memory of Henry Dearborn, soldier and American statesman.
Dearborn is a center of industry, culture and education in the metropolitan surface of Strait. It is the birthplace of Henry Ford and today it lodges the offices of the international direction of the company Ford (Ford Motor Company). Close to the seat of the company, the Center Henry Ford is ( The Henry Ford , also known under the name of the Musée Henry Ford and village of Greenfield ), vast complex which shelters a large museum devoted to the safeguarding of the objects which marked the American history as well as the reconstitution of an old village.
It is in Dearborn that is the Red factory River , whose assembly lines produced the first Ford T. River Rouge also produced Ford V8 (1932), first Mercury, Ford Thunderbird and during nearly forty years the Ford Mustang. The company currently produces trucks of the series Ford F150. Dearborn has an Arab population of 30.000 - one of the greatest Arab communities of North America and the city has a National museum arabo-American.
Dearborn is the seat of one of the three campuses of the Université of Michigan (the others are with Ann Arbor and Flint), and the Henry Ford Community College .
