Dean Gooderham Acheson (April 11th 1893; October 12th 1971) was a lawyer and American statesman . Secretary of State during the administration Truman of 1949 to 1953, it plays a central role in the definition of the American foreign politics during the Cold war. It acts decisively in favor of an intervention in June 1950 in the Guerre of Korea.
