Dead Prez ( The Dead Presidents ) is duet of rap alternate/rap undergound made of Stic.man and M-1. Their celebrity must with their engaged style striking and their texts, having for topics the Racisme, critical pedagogy, the Activisme against the hypocrisy of the governments States-uniens, and the tentacular control of the large companies on the media, in particular on the labels hip-hop. dead will prez gave a their opinion as of their first album, declaring on their-title headlight, I' m year African that the group was “some share between NWA and Public Enemy”. Beginnings
In 1990, M-1 is with Tallahassee with the FAMU ( Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University ) where it meets stic.man and find common points in their love of the music and knowledge. “I bathed in the ideas of the Black Panthers” dixit M-1. “I learned their life, that helped me to form me. ”stic.man: “I realized that there was a fight which I were to join”.
