Dead million

Million Dead is a British rock group created in 2001

It was born from the common Participation of two Immigrés of the the Commonwealth ( Australia ) having for only and single goal to form a group: Cameron Dean with the guitar and Julia Ruzicka with low, to the latter was added Ben Dawson to the battery, and Frank Turner with the microphone, the group changed Line-up, Cameron was to replace by Tom Fowler running 2004, for finally ceasing existing the 12 September 2005 for various reasons.

Members

History

Formation of the group with London mid- 2001, the name is drawn from a song of Swedish of Refused. The first Démo being written in September of this same year they occur everywhere in Great Britain, passing from the label Integrity Record, the group records its first individual at Xtramile Recordings, Smiling At Strangers One trains , in February 2003.

2003 are also the year when they decide to leave, in April, their first album " has Song To Ruin " , propelling them directly on the front of the English scene. " Kerrang Awards " (of the magazine Kerrang!) their decrees even the price of the " better new arrivant" for their individual " Breaking The Back ".

They turn more and more with Funeral For has Friend, before being completely discovered, with their individual I Am The Party , listed " A" by MTV 2.

2004 see the marital departure of Cameron Dean, replaced by Tom Fowler which will accompany them until the end.

Musical style

Punk hardcore will say some, thorough Emo with the Screamo will say others, Million Dead does not have a style musical private individual, indeed, the mixtures of voice, Rythmes, noisy fronts, instruments, as well as the Textes clean by Frank Turner make of it a group with whole share. Certain parts and sonorities of guitar point out Sonic Youth time Daydream Nation.
