Dead Rising

Dead Rising is a Survival horror with elements of RPG. Developed and distributed by Capcom, left in 2006 on Xbox 360.

It comprises very many similarities with the film Zombie ( Dawn off the Dead ) of George A. Romero, left in 1978: the main theme, the place of the action (as well as the arrival in Helicopter).

Gameplay

The play takes seat in a gigantic infested shopping mall of zombies in which the main character is locked up 3 days. The player directs a character in sight “to the third nobody”. He can take photographs, jump, collect objects, them use (it is a question generally of making use of the object to strike) or the throw. Very many objects can be collected: bats, knives, guns, iron bars, cases, shears, and of many others for the objects of attack; bottle, various food for the objects of cure; and of the books which when they are kept give precise no-claims bonus (for example a greater resistance for a type of weapon, a greater number of points for each zombie killed etc)

Several missions are proposed to him, certain belong to the “principal search” (they unroll the scenario of the play), others are optional: it is generally a question of going to save one or more people and of escorting them up to a sure point but also of beating psychopathes in the beginning owners or employees of a shop…

The hero evolves/moves progressively of his actions, the maximum level is the 50.
