Daytona Beach is a city in the State of Florida, the United States. With the Census of 2000, it counted 64  112 inhabitants and extended on close to 152  km  ; 64  422 people resided in 2004 at it.

The city is universally known for its many automobile races or motorcylcists being held on its sand beaches end or its circuit, the Daytona International Speedway. She is visited by approximately 8 million visitors each year.

History

Daytona Beach was founded by Matthias Day, which gave its name to the city. This one was built-in 1876.

In 1926, it amalgamates with Seabreeze, a city close and before separate.
