David de Pury (economist)

David de Pury (1943 - December 26th 2000) was a lawyer, Diplomate and Swiss economist known for its Néolibéralisme.
Originating in the canton of Neuchâtel, it is especially known to be the principal author of the “White paper”. This work whose exact title is " Let us have the courage of a new departure, a program for the revival of the economic policy of Suisse" (ISBN 2380024145), present of the neo-classic ideas important and created sensation in the political circles as of its exit in 1995. One requested from it inter alia a massive Privatization of the Swiss economy.
De Pury took part in the negotiations of Switzerland for adhesion with EEE in 1992 and with OMC in 1994. He was also copresident of group ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) and founder of the daily Journal Time and member of several boards of directors of which that of Nestlé.
