David X. Cohen

David X. Cohen (born David Samuel Cohen on July 13rd, 1966) is scenario writer for Simpson , scenario writer and executive producer of Futurama , and graduate of the Université of Berkeley in theoretical data processing. Born under the name David Samuel Cohen and known before Futurama under the name David S. Cohen , it changed its name after having joined Writer' S Guild off America (association of scenario writers) because there was already somebody called David S. Cohen. Association not authorizing with two members to have the same name, it chose X in the medium to have a side science fiction. He works with Matt Groening in many projects. He wrote and Co-writing of many episodes of Futurama and the Simpson .

After the cancellation of Futurama , it launched a project of cartoon called Grandmaster Freak and the Furious Fifteen which should see the day beginning 2006 with the collaboration of Ice Cube

Futurama

Cohen is the Co-developer with Matt Groening of the late series Futurama which will be ressuscitée in 2008 on Comedy Central. Cohen was used of principal scenario writer, executive producer, and directs the recording of the voices. He is also the director of the actors on the video game Futurama .
