David Walter

David Walter , born in 1958 with Paris, is a Hautboïste, Compositeur, Leader, chambrist and Pédagogue French.

Biography

First price of Oboe and chamber music of the CNSM of Paris, it also gained five international prizes (Ancona, Prague, Munich, Belgrade and Geneva). Member of the Moraguès Quintet since 1980, named in 1987 professor of oboe and chamber music to CNSM of Paris, then in 1997 professor in Guilhall School off Music of London, it punctually directs Camerata of Burgundy, the Unit Philidor, the Instrumental Whole of Grenoble, the Orchestre of Brittany and the Orchestre of Auvergne.

Transcriber of some two hundred and fifty adaptations for his instrument, David Walter also composed a score of works. He collaborates in the Notissimo Editions and directs two collections to the Billaudot Editions.
