David Pujadas

David Pujadas , born with Barcelona (Spain) on December 2nd, 1964 of a Catalan father and a French mother , is a Journaliste French.
Since September 2001, it is the presenter of newspaper the 20 hour old of France 2.

Biography

Graduate of the Institute of political studies of Paris, David Pujadas integrates the Training center of the journalists (CFJ) of Paris in 1988.

Prize winner of a contest of reporters organized by TF1, it becomes there to defer to the foreign service, in particular covering the fall of Nicolae Ceauşescu in Romania in 1989, the war of the Gulf in 1991, the Siège of Sarajevo in 1992. He presents also the newspapers of the morning and 23 hours, during the holidays of the holders of the station, between 1992 and 1993.

In parallel, of 1990 with 1994, it carries out surveys for the magazine of investigation of Charles Villeneuve, the Right to know .

End June 1994, it joined LCI, the new chain of information uninterrupted of the Groupe TF1 where it presents newspapers regularly. As from September 1996, it ensures the presentation of the Grand Newspaper from 18 to 7 p.m. It also creates the weekly magazine 100% policy .

In September 2001, it replaces Claude Sérillon with the presentation of the 20 hour old newspaper on France 2, at the request of the new director of information Olivier Mazerolle.
The audience of this edition is in increase since its arrival, but remains largely lower than that of Patrick Poivre d' Arvor on TF1: 25% compared with 40% of market share for the One.

February 3rd, 2004, he announced in opening of his newspaper the official withdrawal of the political life of Alain Juppe, whereas the same moment, this sum of money ensured at the end of a long interview in the newspaper of TF1 which he will give up his mandates with the wire of the current year. David Pujadas presents his excuses for this error in the edition of the following day, but two days later, following a motion of distrust voted by the drafting of the chain, it is sanctioned by two weeks of forced vacation during which it is replaced by his joker , Carole Gaessler. February 11th, 2004, Olivier Mazerolle presents his resignation and is replaced by Arlette Chabot with the head of the drafting of France 2.

During the season 2005/2006, it presented the Contract , a monthly political interview on the Parliamentary chain. It animates each week Madam, Sir, good evening with Herve Chabalier on France 5 since February 2006.
