David Pringle
David Pringle is a editor of Science-fiction and Fantasy born in 1950 with Selkirk in Scotland.
From 1980 to 1986, it publishes the academic Journal Foundation . It becomes an important organizer of the group which founds the British Magazine of science fiction and fantasy Interzone in 1982. As from 1988, it publishes and publishes in account of author this magazine, until it sells it with TTA Close in 2004.
It took part in the preparation of various works:
- Science Fiction: The 100 Best Novels 1949-1984 ;
- The Ultimate Guides to Science Fiction ;
- Modern Fantasy: The 100 Best Novels 1946-1987 ;
- Imaginary People: In Who' S Who off Fictional Characters from the 18th Century to the Present Day ;
- St James Guides to Fantasy Writers ;
- Ultimate Encyclopedia off Science Fiction (1996).
In 1991, it briefly publishes the magazine Million: The Magazine Butt Popular Fiction . Pringle was editor for the video game manufacturer Games Workshop .
Under its aegis, Interzone gained a Prix Hugo.
