David Parlett

David Parlett is a specialist in the card decks. Its book Oxford Guide to Card Games (in English) is regarded as one of the best studies on the history of the card decks. It is also the author many board games, of which most famous is the Hare and the tortoise, published for the first time in 1974. The German edition received the first reward allotted by the Spiel of Jahres in 1979.

David Parlett is writer, author of plays and consulting for the theater, the cinema and television.
