David Lescot

David Lescot is a Dramaturge French born in 1971. It is also Musicien and Director.

Biography

It assembles its first text in 1998, the Conspirators , with the TILF (International Theater of French language), part which it describes as “black musical comedy”.

It composes then the music of various spectacles, in particular for Anne Torrès who puts in scene the Prince of Machiavel at the Théâtre Nanterre-Almond trees (2001) or the Insane one of Elsa of Aragon at the National theater of the Hill (January 2005).

David Lescot takes part in many festivals like the Monsoon of summer , Time speaking , Court always , open Chambre , where it presents his new texts. In parallel, he teaches the theatrical studies with the Université Paris X (Nanterre) since 1999. He tests himself with the setting in scene by mixing writing and improvisation, theater and music. The spectacle Some damage physical , with the actor Scali Delpeyrat and the trumpet player Médéric Collignon, carries the traces of this research.

With the invitation of Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, he is author associated with the dramatic center with the Comédie with Rheims. Its last part, a man in bankruptcy , is assembled to the Théâtre of the City in a setting in scene of the author.
