David Kuijers

David Kuijers is a South-African painter .

He was born on March 30th, 1962 in Vanderbijlpark, close to Johannesburg, Dutch immigrant parents. He finished his schooling at the School of Art, of Music and from Ballet of Pretoria by obtaining a distinction in Graphic art and 1980 accepted the price of best Peintre.

After a short period as painter of signs, it obtained a Graphic Diploma of Design in Technikon of the Cape, being classified first in illustration. Graduate in 1989, it accepted the price of honor of Designer/Illustrateur. He briefly worked of independent like designer and illustrator, but painted now full-time.

He takes part regularly in collective exposures and delivered various orders, in particular of the acrylic navy for the new hotel President and of the watercolours for the Villa hotel Via and the Volks hospital.
