David Hewlett

David Hewlett is a Canadian Acteur , born the April 18th 1968 with Redhill (County of Surrey, the United Kingdom), and lives with the the United States, in the State of Washington, close to the Canadian border.

Biography

David Hewlett was born on April 18th, 1968 in Redhill, in Surrey, in the United Kingdom, of a father gynecologist (Patrick Hewlett) and of an impassioned mother of history (Mary Hewlett). He is the elder one of an family of five children. He has three sisters (the actress Kate Hewlett, Moyra Hewlett and Jenny Hewlett) and two half-sisters.

He and its family moves in Canada at the time of its childhood, and they are established in Toronto. David was child a large fan of the British series Doctor Who , his " docteur" preferred being Tom Baker. It is with the Toronto' S St George' S College Choir School for Boys that it meets Vincenzo Natali, the future realizer of Cube , Nothing and Cypher , and it is with him that it makes his first films amateurs (among them Exam ).

It leaves the college at the time of its last year to devote itself to the trade of actor (even if his father wanted that he is doctor) and to that of data processing specialist. It takes down its first roles in films with small budgets (like The Darkside ), where some times it hold the first role (as in distressing Pin ). It takes down a small role in the series Urgences , and is pointed out in its role of Doctor Rodney McKay in the successful series Stargate SG-1 .
