David Feuerwerker
David Feuerwerker , born the October 2nd 1912 with Geneva and deceased the June 20th 1980 with Montreal, was a Rabbin and professor of French Jewish history.
Biography
It was born in Geneva in a many Jewish family (it is the seventh of a family of eleven children, whose parents are Jacob Feuerwerker and Regina Neufeld). In 1925, it finishes its studies in Talmud Torah of the street Vauquelin, in Paris. After a baccalaureat of sciences, letters and philosophy in Paris, it enters in 1932 to the Rabbinical School of France, where it becomes Rabbin on October 1st 1937. It is also graduate old Semitic Languages (Semitic Langue) with the Sorbonne.Of October 15th 1937 at September 1st 1939, it spends two years under the flags in Alsace. It was close to Pierre Mendès-France, old the French Prime Minister. He officiated with funerals of his two parents.
