David Fenech

David Fenech is a type-setter, guitarist and singer, born the July 19th 1969, with Saint-Cloud, in France.

Biography

Musician

David Fenech learns the guitar with old ten years and very quickly puts itself to compose. Between 1990 and 1995, it takes an active part in the network of exchange Mail art and contributes to many compilations on support cassette or Cd. In 1991, it founds the Peu collective Imports with Grenoble with Nuvish, Nicolas Jacquin and Richard Bokhobza. This collective plays of the music improvised in a rock'n'roll spirit close to groups like The Ex or Pere Ubu.

David Fenech publishes its first Cd in solo in 2000 on the label All the Universe, then a disc in duet with the Grenoble-native musician Moka on the Romulus label And Remus. He also devotes the improvisation (electric guitar) with musicians like Gino Robair, Christian Rollet (battery), Tom Cora (violoncello) or Emmanuel Holterbach (guitar), Andrea Parkins. He also plays with many musicians of which Felix Kubin, Klimperei (he played in concert with Klimperei & its friends ), James Plotkin (khanate), Shugo Tokumaru, Ramona Cordova, Mr. Quark, Toog, Dragibus, X-ray Pop, Daniel Palomo Vinuesa, Ghédalia Tazartès. He composed the music of cartoon film Tant Of Dogs of Stephan Ricard, produced by Arte and the explosives magazine

Chronicler

He writes also articles in the press musical (the magazine Chronic' art or the fanzine Revue And Corrected) or on Internet (David F Present, its Audioblog is one of the first of the kind in France).

Label

Its independent label Demosaurus is a micro label which published two CDs (Ghédalia Tazartès and Frank Pahl).
