David Coverdale

David Coverdale , born the September 22nd 1951 with Saltburn-by-tea-Sea, Cleveland (England), was the vocalist of the group The Government and joined Deep Purple in September 1973. With Deep Purple, it is illustrated with its voice blues and rocky, which makes wonder with the repertory of Deep of this time.

Deep Purple

It takes part in the albums " Burn " and " Stormbringer " without forgetting the album " Like Taste the Band " with the new guitarist Tommy Bolin who replaced Ritchie Blackmoore like with the DVD " Live At the California Jam" where the members of Deep Purple play in front of more than 200.000 spectators with open sky.

After Deep Purple

After Deep Purple, David Coverdale forms the group Whitesnake which is success in the Années 1980, in particular thanks to the album " Whitesnake 1987 " and the ballade " Is This Love". He leaves then l´album " Coverdale/Page " in duet with Jimmy Page in 1993. In 2000, it leaves an album solo " Into the light " then, after a round in Europe, in November 2006, a new album " Live in the shadow off the blues " with 4 new titles studio. Its new formation includes the beater Tommy Aldridge and the guitarist Red Beach.
