David Chase

David Chase (of his true name: David Cesare ) is the author of the Televised series the Soprano .

As the characters of the series which returned it celebrates, Chase is Italian-American and originating in the New Jersey. He declares that the Rolling Stones was its main subject of study at the university and that its ultimate dream would have been to be a rockor. He quotes among his principal influences William Shakespeare, Eugene O' Neill, Arthur Miller and the films of Federico Fellini (in particular Eight and half ) and Roman Polanski (the comedy Cul-de-sac ).

He acknowledges to nourish a major aversion towards large the networks American (constituted by the principal national chains). “I hate, I mistake, practically each second of this television. (...) I regarded the networks as propaganda for the State-company”.
