David Bourliouk

David or Davyd Bourliouk (Kharkov, 1882 - New York, 1967) was an Ukrainian artist of avant-garde (futuristic, Neo- Primitiviste), illustrator, publicity agent and author.

Painter futuristic neoprimitivist, it studies at the Institute of painting of sculpture and architecture of Moscow of which it is returned in 1913. Major figure of the avant-garde until in 1915 where he emigrates in the Ural and passes via the Siberia, the Japan and the Canada towards the the United States where it temine its life as painter and critic of Article.

His/her friend Livchits traced, in his memories the archer in an eye and half (1933), a tasty portrait of Bourliouk and his family.
