David Bailey

David Bailey (born in 1938 with London) is a fashion photographer and of English portrait.
Biography
Whereas nothing intended it there, it discovers photography following its military service in British Royal Air Force in 1956 thanks to images of Henri Cartier-Bresson. It becomes in 1959 assistant of the photographer John French in London, then photographer corresponding of Vogue the year according to, at the 22 years age.
Major figure of the Sixties, it photographs the counter-culture by drawing its inspiration of the New wave. It explores then the Pop middle of the Seventies then the movement Hippy.
David Bailey married Catherine Deneuve in 1965 in London. They separate in 1967 but go back together in the years 1980.
