David Arnold

David Arnold is a British type-setter born the February 27th 1962 with Luton (the United Kingdom).

Biography

This type-setter little known begins his career while composing of the musics for television and the documentary ones. He carries out even tests with The Clash or The Waterboys, without success. On the other hand, he collaborates with Björk for the title Play Dead, which is reproduced on the BO of The Young Americans , of Danny Canon, one of his friends. In 1994, it composes the BO of Stargate , which completes to devote it to Hollywood. The same year, it lends its voice for the choruses of Giver, of David Knopfler. David also takes part in the original soundtracks of Independence Day (1996), Demain never dies (1997), Godzilla (1998), Shaft (2000), Zoolander (2001) or Meurs another day (2002). In parallel, it continues to produce discs, as on the album-homage to the series of James Bond, Shaken And Stirred having had an important success in England, joining together Pulp, Iggy Pop and other artists like Propellerheads. It also produces the album Gedida , of Natacha Atlas, in 1999. Lastly, in 2002, Arnold composes the music of Fast and Furious 2 .
