David “Chip” Reese
David Edward “Chip” Reese , born on March 28th, 1951 in Dayton in the Ohio, is a professional player of Poker.
He was regarded by Doyle Brunson as one of the two best young people players of the world.
Reese was intended to become lawyer. It was selected for studies of right to the university of Stanford, but finally renonça. Indeed, in 1975 during its way to join Stanford, Reese took part in a tournament in Las Vegas with 500 $ the entry and gained 60.000 $. This had convinced it that it could better earn its living thanks to the poker.
It gained three bracelets of world champion.
In 1991, at the 40 years age, it makes its appearance with the Poker Hall off Famed.
At the time of World Series Off Poker 2006, Reese gained the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E vent, thus bringing back at his place 1.716.000 $. To gain this tournament, Reese was constrained to battle against Bloch during 7 hours of private conversation (286 blows), which constitutes the longest face-to-face discussion of the history of the poker.
