Dave Michayluk
David " Dave" Michayluk (born the May 18th 1962 with Wakaw in the Saskatchewan) is a former Canadian player professional of Hockey.
Career
Dave Michayluk started to play in the Ligue of hockey junior of Saskatchewan into 1979 within the Raiders of Prince Albert before joining the Western Hockey League and the Pats of Regina. Carrying out one exceptional season with 62 goals and 133 points in 72 matches, it finishes third better pointer of the team behind Brian Varga and Jock Callander. It is then chosen by the Flyers of Philadelphia during the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey of 1981 in fifth round (65e choice).It did not join for all that continuation the frankness from continuous LNH but for one season (1981-82) with the Stalemates and finishes second with the classification of the pointers behind his friend, Callander. It is then named in the second team of stars of the WHL and will play even a match for Flyers.
Unfortunately for him, it is not able to be made a place in the frankness from LNH and will pass major the part of its time in the American Ligue of hockey.
For the season 1984-85, it joined the international Ligue of hockey and the Wings de Kalamazoo and finishes better striker of the league with 66 goals (Trophée Léo P. Lamoureux). The following season, he plays three matches in the LAH before beginning a twelve seasons career with the Lumberjacks de Muskegon (then of Cleveland) with his friend Jock Callander.
He is named in the team of stars of the LIH in 1987,1988,1989 and 1990 exceeding each time the 100 points and also gaining the Lamoureux trophy at the end of the season 1989. The same season, it also gains the title of better player of the season (Trophée James Gatschene) like that of the best player of the eliminatory Séries). In same time, its team gains the Coupe Turner.
In 1991-92, he plays all the season with Lumberjacks as well as the series before being called by the Penguins de Pittsburgh which during the eliminatory series lack player. Thus, in company of Jock Callander it joined the team and gains the Coupe Stanley.
