One finds in Davayat:
  • a Menhir in the court of a private individual.
  • a castle of [[style Louis XIII]]. Built by Blaise Roze, rich person negotiating Riomois, which used it like " house of campagne" , this gentilhommière was built at the beginning of the XVIIème century. The construction of this elegant gentilhommière of XVIème century was stopped by the death of its owner. In fact, it was to never be completed according to the plans of origin (construction of the wing Louis XVI stopped during the Revolution). Today, one visits the apartments where are exposed collections of various objects (figurines of TANAGRA, ranges, tables, objects decorative) and costumes of time. The castle is surrounded by a park of 5 hectares, with a garden with the Frenchwoman (drawn by a pupil of Ours) where a yew four times centenary draw up, restored in its initial form, its basin and its sculptures are remarkable.

An alley of chestnut trees leads to this gentilhommière Louis XIII. Two imposing lions carved out of stone of Volvic keep the main courtyard. The wing XVIIIème is decorated of a charming terrace bored of window in medallion and supported by a stone colonnade of Volvic
