Datchet

Datchet is a village of the Berkshire, England. This village is located at the edge of the the Thames, in the east of Windsor.

Its name is of Celtic origin . The second part of the name can hold its origin of " cet" (wood). In the Domesday Book of 1086, it is recorded under the name of Daceta .
