Dart (Ground of the Medium)
Dard ( Sting ) was a fictitious elfic scraping-knife of Gondolin, lost at the time of the bag of the city to the First Age, but found in the treasures of the cave of the Trolls to the Third Age by Bilbon during the forwarding of Thorin II. Bilbon used it as sword, and the name of " gave him; Dard" after its combat against the Giant Spiders of the Black Forest. Then it gave it to Frodon Sacquet when that Ci left with the Compagnie the Ring and it was used to fight the giant Spider Arachne. When Orque S are close to Dart, its blade becomes blue pale.

The Dard sword is not used that by Frodon or Bilbon, indeed in the volume three of the Lord of Rings, Sam makes use of this magic sword to seriously wound Arachne at the time of his duel with it in the mountains of the Mordor.
