Darren Touches

Darren Tate is a DJ and a music producer Trance of international scale. Born in London in England the October 22nd 1972. Coming from the classical music, while having worked with a large range of artists and type-setters. It is especially known to be one of the most famous producer of trance in the world by having successes under various pseudos like Jurgen Vries, Angelic, Orion, Citizen Caned and more recently DT8 Project.

One of the first memories of Darren according to an interview which it gave to the international version of DJ Magazine was that it had pushed the actor Ronnie Corbett in a swimming pool when it was three years old. It started under the projectors very early appearing in many publicities on television, which it finds amusing rather today. During its childhood, he attended the boarding school during 10 years, an experiment which he did not appreciate because of the punishments (the smacking). Whereas the years passed, he learned how to play of several instruments, studied the music at the university of Leeds then composed with much success for television, the cinema and the musical comedies even if its first experiment in a studio in 1994 did not occur well.

In the interview which it gave for magazine DMC Darren in March 2007 declared that its favorite song was Unfinished Sympathy de Massive Attack. In the same interview, it revealed that three of its greater influence in its life were Stevie Wonder, John Williams and Brian Eno. Darren has a son who is one year old in March 2007.

Musical career

As much of his/her comrade deejays, Darren Tate used beuacoup pseudonym, to perhaps mask the broad contribution to the electronic music of the 21e century. Its first project was a collaboration with the superstar Judge Jules in 2000. Together, with the woman of Jules, Amanda O' Riordan, they named their group Angelic . Later the same year, it created a few a few pieces under the name of Orion . September 2002 considering the return of Darren Touches under the name Jurgen Vries . Since then, it used its name but also DT8 and more recently DT8 Project . The song which went up highest in the charts was " The Operated Song" , the talented singer Charlotte Church, credited on the jacket under pseudo the CMC. Several compilations of its pieces of trance have summers compiled and mixed by Tate and left on important labels and were classified in the charts. According to the official site of Darren, there will be an album of DT8 Project named Perfect World , which will leave to the autumn 2007 which is already announced to be one of the largest albums of the scene trance of the end of the year. According to www.darrentate.com the it will be an double album, second Cd containing of the larger remixes deejays in the world.
