Darren Campbell
Darren Campbell , born the September 12th 1973 with Manchester, is a British Athlète , evolving/moving on the sprint.
After beginnings as very promising juniors, wounds and a passage by the Football, it appears on the international scene in 1996 to represent there the United Kingdom with the Olympic Games of Atlanta. But they are only four years more than it gains its first Olympic medal, the money over 200 m behind the Greek Konstantinos Kenteris.
Regular member of the relay 4 X 100 m British, it obtained gold with his compatriots Jason Gardener, Marlon Devonish and Mark Lewis-Francis with the Olympic Games of Athens. They beat there the American relay made up of Shawn Crawford, Justin Gatlin, Coby Miller and Maurice Greene of a hundredth of second.
