Darling Légitimus

Darling Légitimus (November 21st 1907, Carbet; December 7th 1999, the Kremlin-Bicêtre), born Mathilda Paruta, French actress of origin inhabitant of Martinique, a long time senior of the black artists French-speaking, began its career at the sixteen years age in the Negro Review at the sides of Joséphine Baker. It is the mother of Gésip Légitimus, artist complete and Producing of television program as of end 60, and of Théo Légitimus, Comédien, father of Pascal Légitimus, famous actor Inconnu.

Biography

Born the November 21st 1907 with the Carbet (Martinique), raised with Caracas (Venezuela) as of its more tender childhood, Mathilda Paruta arrives at Paris at the sixteen years age, according to its decision to become dancer there.
