Darley Paves

Darley Paves , or simply Darley , is a city of the Derbyshire, England, of a population of approximately 6000 inhabitants. She is located at the North of Matlock, on the Derwent river.

History

The city owes its growth in XIXe and 20th centuries with mining industry and of foundry of the surroundings, and is also used as dormitory town for the workmen of Matlock. Between Darley Paves and Matlock one mentions the career Cawdor Quarry which provided the stones of Hyde Park Corner and of the quays of the the Thames in London.

  • Parish church of XIVe, with a tree which one considers old 900 years. The southern transept is furnished with a stained glass out of glass tinted of a particular invoice built by Ball-Jones and William Morris.
