Darkane

Darkane , (formerly known under the name of Agregator), is a group of death/Thrash metal of Helsingborg, Sweden. They are known to add symphonic elements to their music, such as orchestras, acoustic choruses, and interludes, but also for the technicality of their music. The name " Darkane" comes from the words dark (dark) and mystery (mysterious).

Biography

When the group Agretator splitte, the beater Peter Wildoer and the guitarist Christofer Malmström are joined by Klas Ideberg and the bass player Jörgen Löfberg. This new group - Darkane - very quickly starts to work on aggressive, technical and brutal compositions.

1999 to 2002: After the departure of Lawrence Mackrony (which sings on the first album of the " group; Rusted angel" , appeared in 1999), Darkane recruits a new singer, Andreas Sydow. and records two albums " Insanity" in 2001 and " Expanding senses" in 2002.

2005: After having taken a three years pause, Darkane is of return with a new album " Layers off lies" , a powerful, dynamic and technical album.

2007: Andreas Sydow announces during the summer that it leaves the group.

Current members

Christofer Malmström and Peter Wildoer is also members of Non-Human Level, a group on the initiative of the guitarist who did not wish to disavow the style of Darkane but to integrate more melodies and soli into it.

Klas Ideberg belongs to Terror 2000 with " Speed" of Soilwork, as well as The Defaced.
