Dariush Mehrjui

Dariush Mehrjui داریوشمهرجویی , born the December 18th 1939 with Teheran, is a realizer, scenario writer and producing Iran IEN.

Graduate in Philosophy of UCLA in 1964, Dariush Mehrjui makes its first film, Diamant 33 in 1966. Its following film, the Cow with Ezzatollah Entezami in the main role, is a major work of its catalog of films and history of the Iranian Cinéma.

He is regarded as one of the intellectual realizers of the Iranian cinema, and the majority of these films are inspired by the literature and are based on novels and parts Iranian and foreign.
