Darius II

Darius Ochos or Nothos (the bastard one), is a sovereign achéménide who reigns of -423 with -404.

Wire naturalness of Artaxerxès {{Ier}}, he arrives at the capacity by eliminating his half-brother Sogdianos, itself assassin of the legitimate king, Xerxès {{II}}, in -424. He then eliminates totality from his brothers, a fortnight approximately.

Under its reign, the Perse seeks to benefit from the consequences of the Peloponnesian War, and intervenes again in the Greek businesses via the satraps Pharnabaze and Tissapherne.

Sparte in -412 sign the Treated Millet giving up the towns of Ionie with the Persian in exchange of what the gold of Darius is used for maintenance of the fleet Spartan.

Darius must face many revolts and the Egypt in -405 manages to find its independence temporarily.

The Egypt, the Médie, the Lydie, are raised under its reign; but it succeeds in reducing the revolt. Rather weak sovereign, dominated by his wife Parysatis, who is also her sister, it dies in -404 leaving two wire, Artaxerxès {{II}} and Cyrus the Young person, this last being the favorite of his mother. Artaxerxès succeeds to him on the throne.
