The daphnes ( Daphne ), with approximately 50 to 95 species, are Arbuste S or Sous-arbrisseau X of the family of the Thymelaeacées, with null and void sheets or Sempervirent be. They are originating in Asia, Europe and North Africa.
These plants are known for their odorous flowers and their bay S poisons. The flowers are deprived of Pétale S and have four, seldom five, petaloid Sépale S of various colors. The majority of the species sempervirentes have greenish flowers, while the species with null and void sheets would have pink flowers. Several species flower late in winter or very early in spring.
