Daniel Bartoli (born in 1608 with Ferrare - died in 1685 with Rome) was a monk Jésuite and Italian writer of the 17th century.

Works
One owes him:- a biography of Holy François Xavier: “ Miracoli di S. Francesco Saverio Apostolo dell' Indie della Compagnia di Giesu estratti paved sweated Vita intitolata Asia ”, (1656), impr. Giacomo Mattei, Messine, 163 p. translated into French by the P. Pardies
- a “ History of the Society of Jesus ”, Rome, 1653 - 1673, in Italian, partly translated into Latin by Louis Janin, Lyon, 1666 - 1671;
- “ Uomo di lettere ”, translated into Latin and French;
- “ Ortographia italiana ”, 1622.
Its works were several times printed, in particular with Turin, 1825, 12 volumes in-8.
