Daniel Shays

Daniel Shays (born about 1747 - September 29th, 1825) was a captain during the Guerre of American independence. He is known for his role of leader in the revolt of the peasants involved in debt against the government of the Massachusetts in 1786 and 1787, said Révolte of Shays .
