Daniel Rabreau
Daniel Rabreau is a historian of art, Professor with the Université of Paris I - Pantheon-Sorbonne and author of many publications.
Recognized like one of the large specialists in the urban Art, the Architecture, the Sculpture and the monumental Iconography of XVIIIe and XIXe centuries, it also directs the Center Ledoux (on Claude Nicolas Ledoux) of which he is the creator.
Among its works, appear Charles De Wailly (1730 - 1798), painter-architect in Europe of the Lights , with the collaboration of Monique Mosser (1979), Claude Nicolas Ledoux (1736 - 1806) - the architecture and records of time (2000), drawings of architecture at the XVIIIe century (2001), Royal saltworks of Arc-and-Senans - an industrial monument, allegory of the Lights (2002) and Claude Nicolas Ledoux (Monum, Éditions of the inheritance, 2006, ISBN 2 85822 846 9).
