Daniel Poulou

Daniel Poulou is a Politician French, born the July 28th 1943 with Biarritz (Yrénées-Atlantiques).

He is member of the Union for a popular movement.

Biography

Its profession is director of company.

Daniel Poulou makes his entry in policy in 1977 while being elected mayor Basque city of Urrugne (Yrénées-Atlantiques). He is then re-elected with each election but he is constrained to resign in 2002 due to office plurality of the mandates.

At the time of a partial cantonal election in 1981, it is elected General adviser in the Canton of Hendaye; it thus takes the succession of his father, Jean Poulou. He is re-elected with the General advice of the Yrénées-Atlantiques in 1982 but is beaten at the time of the cantonal of 1988 by the mayor PS of Hendaye, Raphaël Lassallette. He reconquers this mandate in 2001.

The March 28th 1993, it is elected as substitute for the deputy of the Sixth district of the Yrénées-Atlantiques, Michele Alliot-Marie. It sits at the National Assembly starting from the May 2nd 1993, when this one is named with the government. He is then member of the group RPR. He resigns on July 26th, 1995, following the departure of Michele Alliot-Marie of the government.

June 1st 1997, it is again elected as substitute for Michele Alliot-Marie. It returns to the National Assembly starting from the June 8th 2002, when this one is named with the government. It sits during ten days, until the end of XIe legislature.

The June 16th 2002, it is again elected as substitute for Michele Alliot-Marie (with 60,88% of the voices to the second turn) and makes her return to the National Assembly starting from the July 19th 2002. It sits thus during the near total of XIIe legislature within the group UMP.

For the legislative elections of 2007, it is again indicated substitute for Michele Alliot-Marie in the Sixth district of the Yrénées-Atlantiques. She is re-elected the June 17th 2007, by obtaining 58,37% of the voices to the second turn, and is named in the Gouvernement Francois Fillon (2) on June 19th. For the fourth time, Daniel Poulou becomes thus appointed the July 20th 2007 in his place. He is again member of the group UMP.
