Daniel Brélaz

Daniel Brélaz born the January 4th 1950 with Lausanne is a Political personality Suisse member of the Verts.

Biography

Graduate in Mathematical of FPSL in 1975, it is then teaching in mathematics. Since 1975, it engages in the Groupement for environmental protection in Lausanne. It is one of the first ecologists elected in a Parliament in 1978 (then in 1982 - 1983) with the Grand the Council Vaud ois.

Of 1979 with 1989, he is the first ecologist called to sit in a national parliament with the National council.

In 1989, he is elected at the Municipal council of Lausanne where he is responsible for the industrial services. November 25th, 2001, it becomes about it the Syndic and person in charge of finances. March 12th, 2006, he is re-elected as of the first turn of the communal elections of Vaud.

In 2007, it is represented and is again elected at the National council. There leaves the Large Council of Vaud then, but remains syndic of Lausanne.
