Daniel Borel born the February 14th 1950 with Neuchâtel is a Swiss engineer (graduate of FPSL and Université of Stanford)
He is the cofounder and the leader of Logitech in 1981 in Suisse. He had left Switzerland for the United States, in 1992, to save his company in crisis then. He has properties in Switzerland, France, and California. He resides since 1998 in England.
He is married and father of three children. Two of its sons work in California: one at Google, the other at Dolby. His/her daughter studies in Stanford.
It sits in the boards of directors of Nestlé, Phonak Hearing Systems and of the bank Julius Bär. It has creates Defitech, organization which was given for goal to put data processing at the service of the handicapped people, and SwissUp which proposes, inter alia, a classification of the Swiss universities and the Living room of the student.
