Daniel Baril
Daniel Baril is a journalist, a Anthropologue, a writer and an activist Québécois. Former president of the laic Movement Québécois, it is one of the principal militants in favor of the Laïcité in the province. He is known within the Mouvement bright.
During the Years 1970, it militates within Québécois Association for the right to the exemption of religious teaching whereas it is teaching of moral formation. It is named with the Superior council of education (of 1982 to 1986) by the ex-minister of Education Camille Laurin.
In 1985, he chooses journalism, function which brings it to the Forum weekly magazine of the Université of Montreal.
In 1995, it publishes a polemical book against the school confessionnality heading the lies of the Catholic school .
The purpose of its thesis of control in biological anthropology at the University of Montreal was to determine the bonds between the sexual Sélection and the religiosity.
It published in 2006 the book '' the great illusion; how the natural selection created the idea of God '', resulting partly from its thesis.
It received the Prix Condorcet of 2006, price decreed annually by the laic Mouvement Québécois.
