Danie Rossouw

Danie Jacobus Rossouw , born the June 5th 1978 in Sabie (South Africa), is a player of Rugby to XV South-African which plays with the team of South Africa since 2003 and in the Super 14 with bulldozers. General-purpose, it can evolve/move like third line wing, like third line centers, second left line and even pillar (1,98  m for 118  kg). Its ancestors, French huguenots, were called Rousseau, neerlandized in Rossouw.

This powerful player, but also extremely mobile, was the indisputable holder of the team of South Africa, world champion 2007, at the station of number 8. He profited from this statute after the fixed price of Pierre Spies, much more in sight at this station. Nevertheless, the quality of its services in particular finally against the England its statute justified. 2007 were a great year for him, since it gained Super the 14 and the World cup.

It gains Super the 14 in 2007 (6 disputed matches, 1 test) In 2006, it plays 13 matches in the Super 14 with the bulldozers and 11 matches in the Super 12 in 2005.

In national team

It carried out its first test match with the Springboks the October 11th 2003 at the time of a match against the team of Uruguay.

It took part in the world cup 2003 (4 disputed matches). It gained the World cup of Rugby 2007 disputing 7 matches and registering 1 test in semi-final against the Argentine.
