Dance with the Robots

Danse with the Robots is a new attraction of the Park of the Futuroscope, falling under the topic of the season 2006 of the Park, The robots make their show .

Presentation

Since the April 5th 2006, the visitors of the Park of the Futuroscope can go in the last of the Pavillons of Futuroscope, the new House of the Robots of a surface of 2000 m ², to be made involve in vertiginous and air dances with robots, at the rate/rhythm of the Salsa, Rock' roll, Valse and Disco.

Attraction Danse with the robots is a ballroom of 1265m ², which includes/understands 10 Robocoaster S, of the Robots 7 height m polyarticulés. These robot arms, which include/understand each one six articulations, are manufactured by the German company Kuka Roboter GMBH, the European leader of the industrial Robotique. They are able to make undergo accelerations of 7 G and to raise a load of 500 kilo S.

The visitors take seat in Nacelle S in two places assembled to the Poignet of the Robocoaster S, which involve them in the airs at the rate of five songs:

I coils rock'n'roll (Joan Jett)
the alive bamba
Stayin' (the Bee Gees)
Didi (Khaled)
It was well (the p' tit lost ball) (Bourvil)

These five songs are diffused in loop for all the people of the room, accompanying the robots for dance a one duration of 1 minute 30 (time separating each departure from the 10 robots varies between 3 minutes and 3 minutes 30). However, three levels of different forces are to be chosen beforehand by the occupants of each Robocoaster; each choreography carried out by the robots being different from one song to another: there are thus 15 different choreographies (3 levels * 5 songs).

The vidéos of dance realized by BCBG and chorégraphiées by Kamel Ouali and correspondent with each song, are projected on tubular screen a 33 m length and 3 m diameter, fixed at the ceiling of the ballroom.

At the time of each dance, the robots mark a pause in order to carry out a photograph.

A Mezzanine giving on the ballroom is in free access for the visitors wishing to attend the spectacle without taking part in it, it is accessible by the file from left ( I look at ), with the entry of the house.
