Dance Crashers Hall

Dance Hall Crashers is a group of punk Ska American.

History

The group was formed in 1989 by two former members of Operation Ivy is Matt Freeman and Tim Armstrong. However, their implication for the group was of very short duration because both left a few months afterwards. The other members of the formation found that difficult that the two founders leave them. They decided to separate in 1990.

However, the two singers did not give up by taking the orders and by engaging a new guitarist and a new bass player is Jason and Mickey. They had much success with their first album " The Old Record" who was punk ska/completely inspired. They worked like a navvy during 5 years when they left finally an album in 1995 named " Lockjaw". And, one year later came the album " Honey I' m Homely" who is not the best album of the formation. Moreover, in 1998, dance Hall Crashers launched EP of 6 songs which is appreciated largely more than the precedent, which name " Blue Special" Punt;. Note that they did one of the largest rounds international at the time of 1997-1998 when one realized that many people liked their music.

In 1999, they launched their last album is " purr" largely appreciated of the public and their old fans. This album forsook the ska a little to go more towards punk the heavier. Although the ska is the principal style of the dance Hall Crashers, the album is remarkable.

Dance Hall Crashers are in this moment in a pause where they deal with their family more than of the music.
