Danakil (photographer)
Danakil (born has Paris, France) is a Photographe and Réalisateur French.
After photographhaving photographed the tribes of adolescence extrème much (skaters, punks, drug addicts…) for many magazines, Danakil carries out in 2004 the provocative Docu fiction Nappy on the young jet set which meets a broad echo, so much in the universe of the contemporary art than near the general public, at the point to become a neologism.
In 2005, Jerome Without and Nicolas Bourriaud ask Danakil to succeed Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Jean-Christophe Averty, authors of the previews of the Biennales preceding ones of contemporary art of Lyon, and to carry out that of that devoted to the Experiment of the Duration on a music of The Micronauts. In 2006 its photographs are selected by French Art Is Not Dead with works of seven other contemporary artists, his exposure " The despair of those which have tout" is presented within this framework in Europe.
In 2007 the Museum off Contemporary Art (MOCA) of Shanghai exposes a video installation and a series of photographs of Danakil.
