Damysos
In the Greek Mythology, Damysos , wire of Ouranos (Sky) and of Gaïa (Earth), is famous like fastest of the Géants. It is killed at the time of the Gigantomachie and its buried body with Pallène.
According to Ptolémée Héphaistion and taken again by Photios, in a secret place, Thétis subjects to the flames, his/her the first six children whom it designed with Pélée, to make them invulnerable. All perish but at the birth of Achille, his mother places it above a blazing inferno but the father discovers it and saves it flames. His/her son arises all the same with a foot flaring and Pélée entrusts it to Chiron which exume the body of Damysos to extract from its foot, its astragale, source of its speed, and thus to place it in the Achilles' heel. At the time of the Trojan War, this astragale is detached when Achille is continued by Apollon, it fall and is killed.
