The construction of the dam Peixe Angelical , on the Rio Tocantins, began in 2002 and must be completed in 2006. It will have to reach a power of: 452000 kilowatts, and its lake will be located on the territory of the municipalities of Peixe, São El Salvador C Tocantins and Paranã.
