Dam Jupiá
The Barrage of Jupiá is a stopping Brésil in located on the Rio Paraná in the state of São Paulo. It is located at kilometer 2.617 at the beginning of Buenos Aires, a little downstream from the confluence between the Rio Paraná and the Rio Tietê.
Its lake of reserve recovers the old confluence of the Rio Paraná and the Rio Tietê, of which it ennoyé the lower sector to the foot of the Barrage of Very Irmãos.
It is equipped with a lock catching up with the unevenness of 22,5 meters caused by the stopping. The characteristics of the lock are:
