Dahmani meteorite

The meteorite Dahmani is a Météorite fallen in May 1981 in Tunisia.

Its fall is observed by villagers of the area of Dahmani (Gouvernorat of Kef). The meteorite is recovered by soldiers who went to the site then given to the geological service of Tunis.


The meteorite is indexed by the Laboratory of mineralogy-crystallography, associated with CNRS in Paris, the Laboratory of mineralogy of the national Muséum of natural history of Paris and famous the Meteoritical Society.
